257 High Street, Aldeburgh "The Beach Donkey" was previously home to The Black Horse Pub, local rumours suggest that this was once a centre for local smugglers! The 1904 Woodbridge licensing records show that the Black Horse's beer house license was issued in 1843. Today, we still like to keep the drinks flowing!
